The past ten years have granted me many opportunities for exploration: interning in research labs at LSU and UNC, teaching and tutoring high school and college students, and even volunteering in a pediatrics office. This brought with it the discovery that I love teaching science to all ages and ability levels. I strive to make science relevant and humorous, and this makes me a great fit with younger students. As a mother, I love watching my children experience the complexities of chemistry and biology and encouraging them to explore and investigate the world around them.
