I began my artistic education in England, where I was born. I have the English equivalent of an Associate Degree in art and biology. The content of the course that I studied included drawing, painting, creating a course book of drawings for batik projects and drawings rendered using graphite and charcoal. I also had to learn the technique of batik painting. I continued my pursuit of art after I came to live in the US, as a self-taught artist.
