I am currently working as a para-professional (mainly special ed.) at W. Intermediate. I have a Master's in History, and am pursuing certification so I can teach in the public school system. I mainly work one-on-one with the students, many of whom have difficulty learning in a "normal" classroom environment, and therefore require special attention. Since many are at different learning levels, I have to adjust my teaching method to accommodate each student's particular needs.
