THE JOB

The Legal Intern - Document Administration will support Live Nation's Media & Sponsorship's Legal Team by collecting, categorizing, and organizing contracts and templates into a single searchable online resource with relevant meta data on a team network.

This is a temporary, flexible position with a duration of up to 3 months.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Oversee the conversion of identified contracts and other legal documents into a single, searchable repository
  • Work closely with Legal team to ensure contract elements are being updated, organized, and tagged appropriately
  • Manage document revisions, formatting, and upload/download
  • Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary
  • Collect applicable contracts (whether in print, PDF, or Word) from the Legal team
  • Collaborate with SVP of Legal to determine best practices of organization for the resource database
  • Input documents into the database with identified tags/data
  • Organize contract data for searchability, table of contents, footnotes, etc. as identified by team
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2nd year law student
  • Minimum 2 years of relative business experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents
  • Experience working with contracts preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an aptitude for technology are required
  • Experience using CLM tools such as DocuSign is a plus
