Position Name: EHS Intern

Location: Manor, Texas

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting safety inspections and audits across various departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in risk assessments and hazard identification processes and propose corrective actions.
• Help in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees.
• Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and contribute to the preparation of incident reports.
• Work closely with the EHS Specialist in compiling and analyzing data related to workplace incidents and safety metrics
• Review and update EHS policies and procedures under the guidance of the EHS Manager.
• Contribute to sustainability projects aimed at reducing the companys environmental footprint.
• Assist in maintaining records related to EHS performance, training, inspections, and compliance.
• Use PPE as required.
• Perform all duties in a safe & environmental manner.

Profile Required:

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or related program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power-Point)
• Basic understanding of EHS laws and regulations is a plus
• Strong interest in environmental, Health and Safety regulations and policies
