JOB DESCRIPTION - Live Analytics Operations Intern

Location: Houston, TX preferred

Division: Ticketmaster US

Line Manager: Director, Implementation & Consulting

Contract Terms: Internship

THE TEAM

The Live Analytics team isa market leading data analytics provider focused on innovation and unlocking the power of data for our clients. Some examples of our product suite include prospecting models, brand affinity models, venue-selection models, season ticket retention models, pricing models and economic impact studies. The list goes on and there are more requests every day.

THE JOB

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Live Analytics Operations Intern to join our team and lead us into the next phase of efficiency and innovation in the categories of Salesforce, Billing & Client Service. As we advance towards a more global footprint and work with hundreds of clients each month, the opportunity for someone to identify our gaps and solve for better practices is greatly needed.

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN FROM THE INTERNSHIP (OPPORTUNITIES)

  • Gain hands-on experience working on real projects and interacting with clients
  • Learn to analyze data, create presentations, and deliver insights to internal clients

  • Participate in internal client meetings and presentations, and gain exposure to different industries and sectors
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals and learn about the latest trends and best practices in client communications and analytics


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (RESPONSIBILITIES)
  • Engulf yourself in our Salesforce instance to learn about accounts, products, and overall opportunity management
  • Act as the liaison between LiveAnalytics and Accounting teams to ensure efficient and correct billing processes are in place in conjunction with Implementation Coordinator
  • Innovate and create new best practices, teach existing staff, and explore opportunities for the team to advance with client conversation and documentation
  • Participate in data enrichment process by collaborating with cross functional teams to seamlessly integrate data into our broader operations
  • Create new and update existing documentation
  • Provide front-line support for our self-service clients


WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)
  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field, such as Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Consumer Science, or Business Intelligence
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Keen eye for detail, strategic thinking, and a passion for live entertainment
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with Zoom, Adobe, and other common virtual communication tools
  • Some experience with market research, data analysis, or client management is a plus

The expected compensation for this position is:

$18/hourly
