JOB SUMMARY

Nabors is seeking a Business Intelligence/Data Analyst Intern to join the team. As a Business Intelligence Intern with a specialized focus on Power BI, you will work with cross-functional teams and business users to interpret, analyze, and visualize data using Power BI. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply and enhance your skills in data analytics field while contributing to business intelligence initiatives. Internship based in Houston, TX.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities of a Power BI developer include data modeling, report creation, dashboard development, anddata transformation.
Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, providing valuable insightsto support the development and execution of business strategies based on data-driven insights.
Ability to work with any data sources like Oracle, Postgres, SharePoint, Salesforce, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft 365, etc
Design and publish datasets and dataflows using Power BI Desktop and Service
Ensure data accuracy and consistency within Power BI reports through thorough validation and quality checks.
Collaborate with the functional and business user to understand their requirements and provide support in developingPower BI solutions tailored to their needs.
Develop new products, features, or components and test new technologies or features through proof of concepts (PoCs)

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in IT, MIS, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or relatedfield
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Should have a good blend of Technology and Process knowledge
Experience with Agile development
