**Join Our Team**We will train $20-25 per hourWe are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Basketball Coach to join our community sports program. If you have a passion for basketball, love working with children, and want to make a positive impact on their physical and personal development, we want to hear from you**Position**: Youth Basketball Coach **Age Group**: Children aged 4-14 **Location**: Katy, Texas **Type**: Part-time **Key Responsibilities**:- Follow curriculum and conduct basketball training sessions appropriate for various age groups (4-14 years) focusing on fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.- Create a positive and inclusive team environment where every child feels valued and motivated to improve.- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team staff to foster a supportive community.- Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games.- Assess and adapt to the needs of each player, providing individual feedback and encouragement.- Organize and participate in team activities, games, and tournaments.- Lead by example, demonstrating respect, positivity, and a strong work ethic.**Qualifications**:- Previous experience coaching children in basketball or related sports (preferred).- Strong understanding of basketball rules, strategies, and training techniques.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage young children.- Leadership qualities and the ability to manage group dynamics effectively.- Commitment to promoting a fun, healthy, and inclusive environment.- CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).**We Offer**:- A supportive and vibrant community.- Opportunities for professional development and coaching certifications.- A chance to make a significant impact on the lives of young athletes.We are excited to add a new member to our team who shares our commitment to youth development, sportsmanship, and the love of the game.
