I was born in Taiwan and moved to Houston when I was in 11th grade. I am proficiently in speaking, reading and writing in both simplified Chinese characters and traditional Chinese characters. I have spent over five years studying Chinese culture and language as an undergraduate and graduate student. I first earned a bachelor?s degree in Chinese Studies. I, then, completed a Master?s degree in World Cultures & Literature and specialized in Teaching Chinese as Second Language.
