Recent College Grads are encouraged to apply; will Train, prior experience is not required* Quick career advancement and growth opportunities*SUMMARY OF POSITION:Coventry, a Dream Finders Home division, is searching for a Purchasing Analyst is to support the purchasing and construction departments to deliver homes on time, on quality, and on budget. Ensure that all contractors and vendors are approved to work and contracted to build homes at competitive prices that meet predetermined schedules and quality expectations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Review new and existing plans for preparing takeoff counts and base cost analysis reports.* Assess takeoff data, buyer contract options, and plans to generate original purchase orders.* Support field operations by analyzing and processing extra material requests and PO revision requests.* Work with vendors to reconcile purchase orders for payment.* Opportunity for advancement to Purchasing Analyst 2 or 3 positions with increased compensation and responsibilities.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:* Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (Construction, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Math, are prefrred) or minimum 2 years of homebuilder or purchasing experience with HS diploma* Strong Excel skills preferred; strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software* Ability to perform multiple, detail-oriented tasks with time-sensitive deadlines* Ability to read architectural plans is a plus, though not require* Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal* Self-motivated with attention to detail; positive attitude and ability to work as a team member.* Strong organizational skills and time management skillsWORK ENVIRONMENT:* The work environment is representative of an office/field setting* The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate* Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the described essential functions of the job.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
