Description

Duties and ResponsibilitiesWill be trained on how to operate Band-saw machinery used in the production process or assist Band-saw machine operators.Provide assistance in all Production Shop Departments as needed to complete orders accurately and timely.Help production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.Ensure conformance to specifications.Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.Load and unload items from machinesClean and lubricate equipment.Record various production data as needed.Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practicesSignificant overtime and weekend work required.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to stand, crouch, bend for 8-hour shiftsMust be able to lift up to 40 Lbs. on occasionProblem solving skillsAbility to work as a teamStrong attention to detailGood written and verbal communicationEducation and QualificationsHigh school or GED required, as well as a strong mechanical aptitudeMust be able to read, write and speak English.
