Entry Level Sales Development Representative.
As an SDR you will actively seek out and engage customer prospects, work closely with the sales team, and help boost solution awareness through outreach.

Position Overview:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) main responsibility is to drive outbound sales strategy, making phone calls and prepare lists of possible leads. The SDR will research potential clients, connect with, and educate prospects, and qualify leads before handing the lead off to the closers of the sales team.

The employee is responsible for ensuring that Xait adheres to applicable legislation and procedures within relevant functional areas, to demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism, and to work collaboratively and effectively within all levels of the organization.

This position reports directly to the Xait, Inc. US Operations Manager and works in a matrixed organization to provide direct support to the Xait Chief Commercial Officer.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods.
  • Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads.
  • Support senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead generation efforts.
  • Be responsible for various solutions used by Xait to increase awareness and measure lead traffic.
  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward.
  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings.
  • Consistent use of CRM, and other solutions, to log all activities, keep an up-to-date pipeline, and provide effort and status metrics to sales team.
  • Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas.
  • Build positive working relationships with sales and other teams across the company.
  • Act as a positive representative of the company.
  • Assist with promotional opportunities, such as but not limited to, setting up and breaking down for conferences and client meetings, as required.
  • Travel when necessary to support the goals of the company.
  • Contribute to an ethical, positive, and productive corporate culture.
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor s degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience.
  • Experience making B2B or B2C sales and/or lead generation calls.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools such as Salesforce or other similar product.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Bachelor s degree or higher in business or related technical area.
  • 2 or more years of sales experience.
  • Experience with SaaS lead generation or SaaS direct sales.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or other similar product.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to contribute to a high-functioning, fast growth driven sales team in an innovative and collaborative SaaS environment.
  • Ability to identify potential leads within mid-high value organizations, establish positive business relationships, and grow interest in Xait solutions into positive sales leads.
  • Ability to express ideas and present information in an informative and engaging manner, both remote and on-site, through a variety of mediums.
  • Ability to communicate information to internal and external partners at all levels of experience and understanding.
  • Knowledge of SaaS sales cycles and innovative lead generation growth strategies.
  • Ability to listen to the needs of internal and external customers and translate into solution propositions.
  • Knowledge of CRM system(s).
  • Ability to quickly meet, and continue to meet or exceed, lead generation goals.
  • Knowledge of CRM system(s).
  • Ability to travel as needed, both domestic and international, to meet the goals of the company.

Physical Demand and Work Environment:

  • Walk, talk, sit, stand, touch, hear, lift up to 20 lbs., sight, use of hands and fingers.
  • Domestic and International travel as required to meet the goals of the company.
  • Contact with internal and external work groups, customers, and management.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
