The intern will be responsible for nine conference rooms, Town Hall space, and customer rooms. Functions could include: greeting guests, navigating guests to rooms, setting up meetings and ordering food.Essential Job FunctionsAssist internal teammates with scheduling and planning events for the conference floorGreet guests upon arrival and direct them to their destinationsSetup and teardown of rooms and eventsAssisting planning/executing office events and get togethersCoordinating food servicesEducation/CertificationEnrolled in a Hospitality or related program from an accredited university.Experience/Minimum RequirementsCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.Third year of school completion is preferred.Other Skills/AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Scheduling, coordination, and time managementCustomer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approachResourcefulnessReports to:Sr. Executive Assistant to CEOLocation/Working Conditions:8020 Katy Freeway, Houston Texas 77024Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
