This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.Job SummaryThe main responsibility of the Internal Corporate Communications intern for the Air Liquide Hub is to support content development and execution around communication initiatives. This position will have generalist capability in communications as well as implementing and supporting key communication projects. In addition, this person will contribute to the Air Liquide social media accounts in the U.S.This position would require a commitment of 24 hours a week (3 days) for a minimum of 5 months.This position will report to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, Americas hub.ResponsibilitiesEssential responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Researching, writing and editing communications materials for a variety of channels and audiences. This includes but is not limited to announcements, presentations, speaking notes, press releases, Q&A documents, crisis communications, etc. Distribution of announcements and communications as needed. Including coordination with clusters on translations, date and times for hub wide distributions Submit articles and written communications to Air Liquide's intranet Support communication planning and execution of organizational changes Developing editorial calendars for traditional and social media. This includes supporting Air Liquide USA social media channels. Assisting with brand sentiment and tracking company news coverage. Creating analytics and impact reports across communications platforms. Provide support on a variety of communication and engagement projects and events for the hub. This includes but is not limited to Group initiatives, HR campaigns, Hub events, Executive events, community outreach, external events, etc. Collaborate with cross functional teams and departments on providing necessary communication support for identified projects; including but not limited to conceptualize, write, edit and produce customized communication plan and marketing materials Organize and help implement internal communications strategies and awareness campaigns Providing general support as needed to members of the Communications teamQualifications Degree Concentration: Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field 1+ years of experience in communications or marketing or a similar role Experience in writing and editing effectively and quickly for multiple audiences Working knowledge of Google platform (Google+ Communities, Gmail, Drive, etc.) Experience in project and event management Demonstrated copywriting and editing skills in English language (AP Stylebook) Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills Strong organizational and planning abilities Comfort with managing multiple, aggressive deadlines Candidate must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
