Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain the planning, cost and schedule execution of assigned products using existing software systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain Item Master Attribute data to create a time phased material plan that supports the Master Schedule and inventory investment objectives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation of Engineering Change Orders and apply any applicable charges back to projects.
  • Perform transaction analysis to recommend inventory stocking level adjustments.
  • Proactively identify, communicate and mitigate schedule execution issues. Facilitate resolution of cross functional issues as appropriate.
  • Review Planned Purchase Requisitions driven by MRP and convert to Purchase Requisitions for execution by Procurement. Work with Procurement on any items that do not meet the schedule need dates.
  • Support Planners in management of production orders from creation through financial closure.
  • Interact closely with Production Control to ensure accurate information resides in PID packets on shop floor.
  • Release pull requests from warehouse for Inter-business unit transfer shipments and project management requests that are non-production related.
  • Ensure the data integrity of the ERP system, including but not limited to Item Master Attribute and PID data.
  • Proactively interact with engineering, procurement, production control, and manufacturing to ensure effective communication and execution of Master Schedule.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, observe and follow safety policies, wear appropriate and prescribed personal protective equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One (1) year related experience in one or more of the following: Inventory Control, Warehouse, Purchasing or Planning
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with MRP Software and inventory management fundementals as related supply chain functions


  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Supply chain or technical degree
  • CPIM certification
  • Skill to gather, analyze and interpret data.
