We provide advisory and technical services to help clients cleanup and close contaminated sites and surplus operational facilities and restore them for reuse, plan and permit new facilities, address critical climate change issues, restore habitats and water quality, protect natural and cultural resources, maintain compliance, and cost effectively manage residuals and wastes.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Work under supervision of a project manager or senior level team member on a variety of projects, including but not limited to: environmental compliance plans and permitting, environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, and hazardous material surveys.Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.Collects and enters data, and applies technical principles and theories.Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.Entry-level position; may not require previous experience.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in an environmental related field (e.g. Environmental Science, Geology, etc.)Valid U.S. driver's licensePreferred QualificationsOSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER CertificationExcellent interpersonal communication skillsExcellent technical writing and organizational skillsWhat We OfferWhen you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future.
