One of our subsidiaries also supplies Point of Sale Equipment and other financial services. This is a perfect entry-level position for candidates wanting to get a start in the energy and payment processing industries. This position requires a lot of problem solving and technical analysis.Availability Requirements:25 to 30 hours / week during Office Hours (minimum 4 days a week availability required)Office hours: 10:00am - 7:00pm CSTJob Description:The Candidate hired in this position will be working within a team to manage and support Spike Energy and its subsidiary's backend operations. This typically compromises a series of job responsibilities, of which some are listed below:-Answering incoming / making out-going customer-service calls-Interfacing (virtually via email / on the telephone) and negotiating (virtually via email / on the telephone) with suppliers, vendors and customers on a regular basis -Filing, record keeping, ordering supplies-Tidying up and maintaining an efficiently functioning office environment-Preparing documents (spreadsheets, word docs, presentations, etc..)-Faxing and emailing documents-Sending, receiving and organizing mail-Maintaining a work journal as well as a time log-Working within a socially-distanced team environment to problem solve, conduct research, and give presentations (online)-Attending team meetings and trainings (when it's safe).-Various technology related functions such as downloading and installing equipment, building data files, and troubleshooting technology issues with clients and vendors-Some travel may be required (very rare).Educational requirements:-Candidates must have an associate degree or higherOR-Candidates must currently be enrolled in college pursuing a degree**If your resume is well done, we'll consider you for employment with a high school diploma, so please do a good job on your resume and show us that you can handle the work**Qualifications / Preferred Candidate Disposition:-Ideal candidates will possess the following traits: punctuality, accuracy, responsibility, honesty, integrity, positivity, amiability, camaraderie and a can-do attitude-Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English is required. Fluency in additional languages is a plus but not a requirement-Attention to detail, and ability to complete work in the allotted time frame-Ability to self-motivate-Good candidate should be able to learn from mistakes and learn to avoid making those mistakes in the future-Adherence to company protocols is a must-Drug Free environment, back ground check required, part-time job--employer willing to work around your class schedule (if in school).-Data Entry: 40+ words per minute typing speed and typing accuracy requiredOther Perks: Employer Determined Bonuses
