Jacobs is NASA's largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States. We are looking for a Technology Transfer Intern to join our team. Do you have the following skills? The intern will be working in the Technology Transfer and Commercialization Office related activities and proposal work involving managing of NASA JSC technologies. The work team consists of a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and business specialist working to license, market, and capture technologies invented by NASA JSC workforce.Qualifications Required Education/Experience/Skills: Candidate must be working towards a BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Business or a related discipline. Completed at least 60 credit hours. Minimum of a 2.8 GPA. Experience in communicating with business specialists and engineers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exemplary organizational skills and careful attention to detail. Ability to multi-task. Working knowledge of and experience with MS Office. Requisition Preferences: Experience working with new and patented technologies. Experience or coursework working in a Technology Transfer Office. Experience or coursework in data management. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised. Essential Functions Work Environment Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time). Equipment and Machines Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.). Attendance Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements. Other Essential Functions Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
