ERM is seeking a motivated Staff Learning Consultant to join our growing Transformation and Engagement team based in any one of our North American office locations. Our team provides change management, communications, learning and design services to help clients navigate complex change. We put people at the center of strategic change, from strategy through to implementation.

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the development of learning design. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to identify and implement adult learning strategies and instructional design components to align with our clients respective business practice goals and objectives. You will be responsible for creating innovative learning solutions, enabled by technology, to meet a variety of diverse client learning and development needs. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous corporate or consulting experience.

Candidate should be a quick learner and able to adapt in a quick paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and write learning content in professional business prose.
  • Coordinate and organize content design for existing change and training programs.
  • Conduct client research and business analysis.
  • Apply Adult Learning Theory and Accelerative Learning methodology into learning programs.
  • Conduct competency mapping and analysis as part of change and training programs.
  • Work collaboratively with internal client teams to design new program content.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of programs across global time zones.
  • Work with other team members across the globe in a collaborative, inclusive manner.
  • Review, edit and enhance client deliverable content and materials on an as needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Education, or relevant field required.
  • Business writing and presentation communication skills required.
  • 1 to 4 years of experience consulting, facilitation, and/or instructional design is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience with creating learning content
  • Professionally attentive with an understanding and adherence to business acumen, business strategies and a desire for team collaboration.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible to changing situations.
  • Ability to work and handle a diverse curriculum of training and various multimedia technology.
  • Willingness to travel, both within the United States and to international locations. Up to 50% travel may be required. All health and safety measures will be considered when/if travel is necessary.
