Summer 2021 Intern ["United States of America-TX-Houston"] Imagine yourself working for a company where innovation, teamwork, and customer service comprise the core of that organization a place where talented people from over 60 countries work together to set standards of safety excellence in the maritime world. ABS is looking for full-time students pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD degree in one of the following engineering disciplines: Civil Structures, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, Ocean/Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture. It is anticipated that interns will be placed and work in our ABS Corporate Headquarters Office located in Houston, TX. Our standard internship program also provides shared housing and local transportation as well as travel to and from Houston for the internship. The format of the internship (in-person vs. virtual) will follow the same format as the rest of the ABS Houston Office. The anticipated 2021 summer internship period is from May - August. ABS Interns are integrated into ABS business operations and will experience various aspects of engineering review, technical problem solving, and/or research and development. The program ensures that you are working side by side with industry professionals delivering classification services, recognized technology leadership, and trusted technical advice to the marine and offshore industries.
