Like being on a team?Apply to be a Unloader at Jake's now!Job SummaryThe Unloader unloads pallets out of our Vendor's trucks and ensures they are ready for the Forklift Operators to put away.Title: UnloaderReports To: Director of WarehousingSchedule: Monday - Friday, Day ShiftPay: Training is Hourly - Transition to Incentive Pay Only - YOUR EFFORT = YOUR PAYDuties and Responsibilities(include, but not limited to)Restack and correct any palletized loads that are unstable or unsatisfactory.Ensure all product labels are facing forward and easily seen for selection.Maintain loading dock in a neat and orderly fashion.Report any defective equipment.Comply with all company policies, procedures and practices.Any other tasks as assigned by management.Willing to work additional hours, holidays and weekends as requested.Must pass all pre-employment screens.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as load maps, labels, work instructions, and reports.Ability to speak and communicate well with team members.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Job AttributesAbility to safely operate a motorized pallet jack and dock-stocker.Adaptable to a changing environment.Attention to accuracy, detail, and organizational skills.Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.Displays professionalism, respect, a good work ethic, and is accountable for one's actions.Punctuality and reliability.Physical Requirements(include, but not limited to)Representative of the requirements to perform the essential functions of this job.
